This highly specialized course will focus solely on spin training - upright, inverted, accelerated and flat. Initial lessons will progress from 2 turns to spins greater than 6 rotations. This course is some of the best training you can receive and is a must for everyone. CFI Spin endorsements also available.
Upset Training - Minimum 2 hours recommended
The objective of this course is to get the student to properly identify a potential unusual attitude or upset, how to avoid it and the skills necessary to properly recover from it.
Each student will be given approximately 2 hours of instruction to include a pre-flight briefing, in-aircraft training and a post-flight briefing.
Explanation, demonstration and discussion of each maneuver to be flown, recognition and common errors.
Maneuvers will include, but are not limited to:
Basic aircraft control and finesse,
Stalls (power off and on),
Spin recognition and recovery, Accelerated Spins,
Safety equipment, parachute operation and emergency egress.
Demonstration and hands on execution of maneuvers,
General aircraft finesse and control,
Stall/Spin awareness and recovery.
Advanced maneuvers may be performed dependent on the student.
Extensive discussion of all maneuvers performed in flight.
Review and discussion of proper recognition, recovery and any noted errors.
Question and answer session with student.
Upon completion of this course, each student will have a much better understanding of unusual attitudes and the hazards associated with improper technique and recovery.
Each student will experience flight in all attitudes. The training and experience gained from this course will give each student the confidence and ability to recognize and safely recover from nearly any flight attitude.
